Price is justified before it is seen
Buyers form a value judgement in the first seconds. If the site feels like every other site in the category, the price looks high. If it feels considered, the same price looks reasonable. That gap is what premium design is buying.
Restraint is the expensive part
Premium design is mostly subtraction: fewer elements, more space, one idea per screen. That takes longer than adding, because every element left in has to justify itself.
Craft without the performance cost
Heavy visuals and slow sites are not the same thing. We set a performance budget before design starts and test on mid range hardware, so the WebGL work never blocks the first paint.
