Overview

A store that loads fast and sells on mobile

Most Shopify stores are a bought theme with six apps bolted on. That works until traffic costs money. Then every app script, every render blocking asset and every extra tap in the checkout starts eating margin.

We build Shopify themes in Liquid from a blank slate or rework an existing theme so the parts that matter, product pages, collection filtering and the path to checkout, are as fast and as clear as they can be. Where an app genuinely earns its place we keep it. Where it does not, we replace it with code that does the same job in a fraction of the payload.

Where the revenue actually comes from

Three things move ecommerce revenue: how many people arrive, how many of them buy, and what they spend. A theme rebuild moves the middle number. Our work starts by finding where people currently drop out, then rebuilding those specific screens rather than redesigning everything for the sake of it.

You get a store you can run yourself. Sections are editable in the Shopify theme editor, product templates are flexible, and nothing important is locked inside a plugin subscription.

Scope

What lands in your account

Everything below is included at the stated price. Anything outside it gets quoted before work starts, never after.

  • Custom Liquid theme, built section by section
  • Product, collection and cart templates
  • Mobile first design across every template
  • Speed work targeting Core Web Vitals
  • App audit and removal of redundant scripts
  • Shopify Markets and multi currency setup
  • Checkout and post purchase configuration
  • Structured data for products and reviews
  • Analytics, GA4 and conversion tracking
  • Theme documentation and a handover call

Why it works

The parts that make the difference

01

Liquid, not page builders

Page builder apps add weight to every page load. We write the theme directly, so you keep the editing flexibility without the payload.

02

Speed is part of the brief

Every build gets a Lighthouse budget agreed up front. Images, fonts and scripts are measured against it before launch.

03

Built to be edited

Every section is configurable in the theme editor. Your team adds products and changes homepage blocks without opening a ticket.

04

Migration without losing traffic

Moving from WooCommerce, Magento or BigCommerce, we map every URL and set redirects so rankings survive the switch.

Process

How a shopify development project runs

You get a named contact, a shared board and a weekly update. No agency black box.

  1. Step 1

    Store audit

We go through analytics, checkout funnel and the current theme to find where sales are leaking.

    Week 1
  2. Step 2

    Design the key templates

Homepage, collection, product and cart get designed first because they carry the revenue.

    Weeks 2 to 3
  3. Step 3

    Build in Liquid

Theme development on a development store, with a preview link you can check at any point.

    Weeks 3 to 6
  4. Step 4

    Test and launch

Cross browser testing, checkout run throughs, redirects, then a launch window that avoids your peak trading hours.

    Week 7
