Overview
There is a point where a template stops being a shortcut and starts being a ceiling. Usually it arrives when the brand has a strong point of view and the site cannot express it, or when the interaction you need does not exist as a plugin.
This is the service for that. We write the front end by hand, with the animation, the WebGL work and the interface behaviour designed specifically for what you are trying to communicate. It costs more than a theme and it takes longer. It also produces something a competitor cannot buy.
Animation for its own sake gets tiring in about four seconds. We use motion to do a job: to show relationships between things, to signal progress, to make a long page feel navigable. Every effect gets a reduced motion fallback and a performance budget.
A custom site is only a good investment if you can still edit it in two years. Every build ships with a content layer your team controls, whether that is a headless CMS, a custom admin or a static content workflow.
Scope
Everything below is included at the stated price. Anything outside it gets quoted before work starts, never after.
Why it works
Nothing is picked from a library. The interface is designed for your content and then built to match it exactly.
Three.js scenes, shader work and canvas components, all with a budget and a fallback for lower end devices.
Keyboard paths, focus states, contrast and reduced motion are part of the build, not a retrofit before launch.
You get the repository. Any competent developer can pick it up. No proprietary lock in of any kind.
Process
You get a named contact, a shared board and a weekly update. No agency black box.
What the site has to prove, in what order, to whom. Sitemap and content plan come out of this.
Type, colour, motion language and two full page directions to choose between.
The WebGL scene or the complex interaction gets built early, so we prove it works before it is load bearing.
Full front end build, device testing, performance passes, then launch.
Questions
Straight answers, no sales language.
Ask something elseIt is worth it when the site itself is part of the sale: agencies, studios, premium products, anything where the buyer judges quality from the first ten seconds. For a straightforward brochure site, a well built WordPress theme is better value.
Not if it is budgeted. We set a performance target before the build, test on mid range Android hardware, and cut anything that misses the budget.
Yes. Every custom build includes an editing layer. That is usually a custom admin dashboard or a headless CMS, depending on how your team works.
You own the repository and the documentation. The stack is deliberately mainstream so any experienced front end developer can continue the work.
