Development that survives the handover
The measure of a build is not whether it works at launch. It is whether a developer who has never seen it can extend it eighteen months later. We write to that standard: conventional stack choices, readable structure, documented decisions, no clever tricks that only make sense to the person who wrote them.
Where the engineering effort goes
Most of the difficulty in a web project is not the visible part. It is data modelling, integration behaviour, edge cases in forms and checkouts, and what happens when a third party service is slow or down. We plan for those explicitly rather than discovering them in production.
Testing on the devices your customers actually use
We test on mid range Android hardware and throttled connections, not just on a fast laptop. That is where performance problems appear first and where most of your mobile traffic lives.
